tooling for creation of thermoformed prototype samples. Collaborates with manufacturing and
quality departments to develop production tooling including forming, trim and stacking stations
utilizing Pro/ENGINEER: Wildfire 2 CAD software.


TRW Automotive, Farmington Hills, MI - April 1996 to April 2003
Designer/Senior Designer - Automotive Switch Components

Responsible for the development of 3D CAD Solid models and detailed 2D drawings of mainly
plastic injection molded electromechanical switch components utilizing the CATIA v4
CAD software package. Works with design engineering to support design proposals and packaging
studies for current and future programs. Facilitate the import/export of CAD data files for
translation between CAD systems and for transfer to suppliers via FTP and email. Prepares
STL files for rapid prototype parts.Support Configuration Management Department by releasing
CAD models/drawings with the CATIA Data Manager (CDM) software. Identify problems with CATIA
software and work with System Administrators to provide basic troubleshooting.
